Patricia Rykert is a licensed clinical social worker. Patricia offers her patients honesty and active feedback. She considers empathy and active listening to be her greatest strengths. Patricia knows patients seek psychotherapy during difficult times in their life, so she meets her patients where they are and guides them toward recovery and healing. She strives to inspire her patients so they can discover their limitations and potential to lead happy, healthy lives. During sessions, Patricia combines cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed therapy, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, and rational emotive therapeutic techniques. Patricia has been providing therapy since 2000 and works with patients ages 18-65. She treats anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, life transitions, peer relationships, relationship issues, self-esteem problems, stress, divorce, dual diagnoses, infidelity, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), women’s issues, control disorders, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. Patricia speaks English and Spanish.
