About
I am a cis-gender Latinx licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) who has been implementing evidence based therapy interventions for 9 years, in a variety of clinical settings. I’ve worked with individuals with concerns related to grief and loss, chronic illness, conflict resolution, life transitions, and depression/mood disorders. I incorporate active, supportive, empathetic listening with a strengths-based approach. My goal is to assist with empowering your narrative with safe guided exploration of self, while honoring your intergenerational and lived experiences, as you are the expert in your story.
I believe the client-therapist relationship is the most important anchor in therapy. My approach encompasses interventions that are rooted in relationship-based and cognitive-behavioral theories. I provide a space that is transparent, compassionate, collaborative, and welcoming. I offer a non-judgemental, open minded, person-centered space. Together, we can find healing, find deeper meaning and reach your desired goals.
Seeking therapy takes bravery and is a form of growth and self-care; work that begins with reconnecting to the deeper layers within ourselves in order to find healing, acceptance and contentment. I welcome you, whether your needs are focused on the short-term or long-term.
