Welcome to my Psychotherapy practice. This is where growth and personal healing can really happen. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist committed to helping individuals learn how to build healthier relationships and achieve their life goals. I believe developing a trusting relationship is essential to create change. My approach is strength based and solution focused. I use an eclectic approach in therapy which may include Client centered, attachment, EMDR, CBT, with individuals to obtain their goals and have a successful therapeutic experience. My philosophy and approach with therapy integrates professional work with my own personal experiences. I have developed empathy and understanding for how difficult life can be. I specialize in helping my clients not just get relief from painful emotional struggles—such as anxiety and depression—but also create lasting change in their most significant relationships. I enjoy developing relationships and providing active listening with individuals. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to parenting support, and beyond. I offer a highly personalized approach, in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere tailored to individual needs to help attain the personal growth. I have experience with depression, anxiety, family issues, trauma, and abuse issues. I have been trained in long- and short-term models of therapy. Offering a well-rounded approach by providing an Eclectic approach to problems and therapeutic interventions, tailored to each unique situation. I have enjoyed working in the Behavioral field with a variety of clients since 2000. Training and Education: I hold a Master's Degree from National University and a BA from Simpson University. I have a certificate for level 1 training in EMDR. I have additional training from working as a clinician for 15 years in County Services in several departments which are Health Program Manager, Clinician, LMFT and Psychiatric Technician. Currently offering telehealth sessions.
