Ms. Pat is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience specializing in Depression, Anxiety, Substance use disorder, and PTSD including Trauma related issues. Pat treats patients 18 and up utilizing several holistic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. Pat has extensive experience counseling adults, seniors, families, couples, and groups in both clinical and outpatient settings. In her clinical work. Pat is well versed in both traditional therapeutic techniques such as creative cognitive behavioral assignments, individualized role plays and relaxation techniques. Pat enjoys working on community support events, public speaking, and spending time at the beach. Pat has a Master’s in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Averett University. Pat has substance use certification in two states Maryland and Virginia.
