I am a Marriage, Family and Couples Counselor who has spent many years in the behavioral health field. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults who are struggling to cope with trauma. I have worked with a wide range of individuals, couples and families who are struggling with daily life stressors, past and present trauma, sexual and physical abuse that has led to depression, anxiety, self doubt, low self worth, suicidal ideation and self harming behaviors.

I engage in active listening, providing individuals with the warmth and safety to share their thoughts and feelings within the therapeutic environment. I am a warm, compassionate individual who strives very hard to encourage individuals to share their stories in a safe, controlled therapeutic environment. As individuals feel able to share emotions, thoughts and feelings, the healing process begins, allowing them to grow and move away from past behaviors or situations that are holding them back.

I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution focused Therapy and Experiential Therapy. However, I realize and understand that each person brings unique circumstances to the therapeutic alliance, so additional treatment modalities maybe applicable to their individual needs.

I know that therapy can be daunting for many, it is my goal to ensure that you feel comfortable and at ease during the therapeutic process. Therapy can be tough, but together we can make it one of the best decisions you made in order to live life to the fullest and be successful.
