Hi there! My name is Yesenia Gonzalez and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based out of Los Angeles, CA. Fortunately, through the use of telehealth, I am able to work with people throughout the state and Texas as I'm also licensed there. My approach to therapy is holistic as I don't believe that one singular approach works for everyone. The majority of my focus has been working with people with anxiety, depression, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and stress. My approach As mentioned, I tend to use a holistic approach to therapy which means that I use a combination of approaches to help reach your goals. I may use a little bit of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) mixed with some Psychodynamic Therapy. It really depends on what your goals are. My focus Typically, my personality and approach tend to align with older teens and young adults. This has been the population that I have worked with the longest and is the most comfortable with. This means I am also comfortable treating disorders most commonly associated with this age.
