As a therapist, I believe in what I consider “personalized behavioral health services.” Rather than treating clients as a number, I take time to build strong therapeutic relationships. It is important for clients to trust me before they tell their truth. This means active and reflective listening, receiving in-between session messages, receiving an article by email, or receiving a quote in the client portal. I also believe that laughter represents joy and happiness. I believe in laughing in my sessions. I am a well-versed professional, but if I don’t know something, I will always tell clients and then research or consult. If I find that your specific issue is beyond my scope of practice, I will be honest and give a client referral to another therapist. As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying appropriate therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
