There are times everyone needs to feel heard, especially during times of uncertainty. My focus is to help clients navigate life transitions, teach coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and nurture a strong identity. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has a holistic approach that draws from CBT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based models that help to work through negative thought and behavioral patterns while building insight into intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. I received my M.A. in Clinical Psychology and PPS Credential in School Counseling from Phillips Graduate Institute in Southern California in 2007 and certification in hypnotherapy from Hypnosis Motivation Institute in 2013. Since then, I have worked in Intensive Outpatient Programs and the inpatient unit and detox running groups, community mental health with victims of crime as well as in group private practice utilizing hypnotherapy techniques and in school-based settings while as an MFT Intern and school counselor trainee. It is common to become discouraged from day-to-day stressors, past traumas, and persistent negative self-talk. I value the collaborative process and offer a safe space that encourages my clients to re-author an authentic narrative.
