Hello,
My name is Pam Myslivec, MA, LPC, CAADC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan and own a private practice called Core Counseling Services, LLC. I have worked in the mental health field for 6 years, and my expertise is working with individuals that have experienced some type of trauma or difficult life experience, such as a death, divorce or relationship break-up, loss or change of job, etc. I am well versed in working with telltale symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, etc. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor that has worked with abstinence-based clients and medication-assisted clients.

My therapeutic approach is person centered and based on evidence-based techniques. I believe all human beings have the need to be heard and understood - empowered by the ability of learning how to “know thyself”. I provide a safe space that is based on mutual respect. I see myself as a mirror for reflection and a guide to different paths of choice. My goal is to help clients become the best version of themselves by healing old wounds, having awareness in the present and hope for the future.
