I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California, with over 10 years of experience working as a residential counselor, case manager, and therapist. I have experience working in varied settings including group homes, crisis residential, custody, elementary and high school, and private practice. I have worked with teenagers in a drug/alcohol group home, worked with teens in a private practice setting and school counseling. Since 2012, I have been working with adults who have severe mental illness, co-occurring disorders, parenting issues, and addiction providing a mix of case management and supportive and reality therapy. I have worked with individuals who experience anxiety, social anxiety, teen concerns, depression, severe mental illness (Bipolar, Schizophrenia, mild developmental disorders), self-harming behavior, relationship issues, ADHD, adjustment issues, and trauma.

My counseling style is warm, open, supportive, and meeting the client where they are at to then reach the goals they have in therapy. I like to use different therapy modalities including cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, solution focused, reality, and psychodynamic. I like to know how my client feels most comfortable expressing themselves, whether it be through art expression, verbally, visually, or other means.

-Licensed by State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences
-Olivet Nazarene University, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
