I have been a social worker for over 30 years. I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from Touro College and my master's degree in social work from Boston University. Most of my professional life has been working in a community mental health agency serving vulnerable children and families. In 2021, I began providing therapy full-time. My specialties are working with depression, anxiety, disability issues, adults, older adults and the LGBTQIA+ population. My goal is to help you feel better. I believe that self-care is crucial in becoming well and will support you in finding ways to do so. I am committed to providing a space where you can be your authentic self. I am open to working with many types of issues that adults face in their lives. I believe that kindness and empathy are important factors in therapy. My work is infused with and inspired by Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, art/creativity, spirituality, meditation, 12-Step programs, Motivational Interviewing, and more.
