My name is Paige Fuqua and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. I have over 10 years experience as a counseling professional in clinical and school settings working with adolescents and adults. My expertise is working with people who struggle with substance use disorders, depression and mood disorders, grief and loss, and adjustment issues. I rely on counseling interventions based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and brief solution-focused therapy.

My counseling style is warm and supportive, but I am direct and forthright. I may challenge my clients to confront harmful thought patterns and consider alternate ways of regarding people, places and things. I believe that people are capable of change, even when change seems impossible.
