Hello there, my name is Oriana and I am so glad you reached out today. I provide therapy from a strength-based and solution-focused approach, with an emphasis on personal resiliency and authenticity. I use an evidence-based model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with an integration of Person Centered Therapy (PCT). My approach to therapy is goal oriented and effective for clients that have difficulty with many challenges such as anxiety, social phobias, adjustment, emotional regulation, depression, and family conflicts. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I have earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and a Masters of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College. I am currently completing my doctorate degree in Counselor Education. I have completed specialized training in CBT from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

During treatment sessions, I encourage clients to gradually change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and develop new skills. My therapy focuses on a client’s strengths while providing a multicultural, ethical, and empathetic environment. In addition to sessions in English, I also offer sessions in Spanish, to adults of all ages.
