Hi! My name is Dr. Omyda Hernandez, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I specialize in helping clients navigate issues around ethnic/racial identity, biculturalism, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I bring a social and racial justice lens to therapy, exploring the impact of immigration, ethnic/racial identity, or cultural issues that impact personal and professional life. Life transitions, relationship challenges, experiences of loss, issues around acculturation, & family difficulties can lead to a sense of isolation and unrest. Whether these experiences happen in childhood or adulthood, their impact can be difficult to shake. They leave an influence on how we view ourselves, others, and our approach to new situations. We'll look at the influence these factors have on how you view yourself, others, and your approach to current situations. In addition to the above, I also specialize in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD for children, adolescents, and adults.
