I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Mexico for almost 18 years and am also licensed in Texas as well. I am also a Certified Life Coach for almost 6 years. I have experience working with individuals, families, couples, and doing groups. I have worked with many clients on various challenges they may have including: depression, anxiety, grief, coping with stress from life changes, family stressors, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, trauma (both recent and a history of trauma), abuse (recent and a history of abuse), and many other challenges that people face.

I am doing this because I believe people already have it in them to be who they want to be. I just help them rediscover that in themselves. I believe that the therapeutic relationship can be a safe space to talk and explore what it means to be you and to address any challenges you may face. Ultimately, my job is to not be needed. My job is to walk with the person for a little while, explore, and at times challenge them, but also to look at what is working and build on that. I believe that relationships are what help us heal.

You are doing something that others are intimidated to do and that is taking time to care for yourself. We all need that.
