My name is Olivia Sanchez; I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) with 15 years of experience in Texas. As a Solution-Focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life worth celebrating. While we cannot change past difficult situations, we can work together to understand better and resolve challenges in our lives. By applying complementary therapeutic approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavioral patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. My career in counseling started at a non-profit agency working with child victims of crimes. I also worked in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) division. I acquired strong short-term Solution-Focused Brief Therapy skills counseling various populations on depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marital/couples, end of life, and psychotic disorders. I then began a private practice ten years ago where I am currently working remotely addressing many of the same psychological issues in which I have gained a rich spectrum of expertise with strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and problem-solving abilities in a variety of areas and consider myself an eclectic, Client-Centered psychotherapist tailoring my treatment modalities based upon the needs and goals of my patients.
