About

I am a licensed professional counselor with a BA in Psychology from Rice University and a MA in Counseling from Houston Graduate School of Theology. I am scheduled to obtain a doctorate in Clinical Psychology in April 2022. I enjoy working with people from a variety of backgrounds and age groups. I work with adults, children, teens, adolescents, and the elderly. I have experience treating clients in the areas of depression, anxiety, addictions, PTSD, relationship issues, and difficulties adjusting to life events. I am a certified clinical trauma professional as I see trauma as a gateway to a number of disorders, addictions, and problematic thinking. I am open-minded and use a multidimensional approach that is solution-focused. My training is based on evidence-based techniques and proven research methods. I see my greatest strength as being empathetic, relatable, and honest with my clients.
