Hello, my name is Nora Salanger, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 7 years of counseling experience in the field of mental health. I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, those going through breakups/separations/divorce, or adjusting to stressful life transitions.

I utilize a variety of therapy methods, depending on what works for the client and their unique situation. I like to use a systems approach in treatment, meaning I understand that there are many layers to a person and I work to understand the person as a whole. In doing so, I feel I am better able to help sort through difficulties in a person's life. That being said, I also understand that clients on this platform may be looking for more direction, in which I provide solution-focused therapy and short term interventions. My approach is trauma-informed and client-centered.

I understand reaching out for help from a counselor can feel scary. I work to create a non-judgmental space for counseling where the client can feel comfortable being their authentic self. I believe that you are the expert of your life and I will work to understand your needs based on how you perceive yourself and your world.
