I have a Master of Science in the field of Counseling Psychology, with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Therapy (CHAD), attained in May 2003 from Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, PA. I have worked in the Mental Health field for 18 years. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (Lic #: 13974).

I have experience working with individuals, families, children, couples and in group settings. I am experienced in many areas of counseling; However, I have spent most of my counseling career working with children and adolescents. I have experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Family Systems Model, Play Therapy, Behavior Modification, Psychoeducation, Psychotherapy, Trauma Focused Therapy and Crisis Management. I currently provide the following services: individual therapy, family therapy and group therapy.
My theoretical style is a person- centered approach. I believe trust is an essential part of the therapy, and it is developed over the course of the therapeutic relationship. As a counselor, I will facilitate a safe trusting relationship by listening, being forth coming, authentic, nonjudgmental and empathetic. As your counselor, my role is to help you learn effective skills that build on your own strengths, define attainable and achievable goals and recognize options that are available to you. My goal is to serve you in a respectful, professional, honest and caring manner.
