Hello, my name is Nikki and I am a therapist at Growas. I have been working in the psychology field since 2014. I obtained my Bachelor's degree from Widener university in 2015. I then went to Rosemont college where I obtained my master's degree. I am currently licensed as a licensed practicing counselor. I am experienced in working with a variety of ages and have had clients between the ages of 7 to 70 years old. I have helped those struggling with anxiety, depression, gender/sexual identity, trauma, and life transitions. I utilize a strength-based approach with therapy and believe in growing self-esteem and self-acceptance as well as building healthy supports and coping skills. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness and have experience in using play, art, and music therapy in my practice. My goal is to create a safe and open atmosphere where my clients feel comfortable being vulnerable and grow stronger from that vulnerability. In my free time, I love spending time with my cats, hiking, yoga, and spending time with family and friends. I would love to help you or your child if you feel I am a good fit.
