Hello !
My name is Nicolle Olson and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of South Dakota. I have been working in the Mental Health Field and with Clients for over 5 years and previously worked in the Medical Field for almost 10 years. I have experience in Group and Individual Therapy as well as conducting Mental Health Assessments. I have worked with individuals experiencing struggles with Addiction in both the Inpatient and Outpatient setting. I have experience working with individuals and couples who are struggling with relationship issues. I have also worked with Veterans and Veterans issues. I specialize in the area of CBT; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy including setting and achieving goals, becoming a better communicator and self worth.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns and diagnosis, including feelings of low self worth, addiction, employment issues, depression and anxiety, grief, PTSD, homelessness, Bi-Polar and BPD, legal issues, criminal history, spirituality concerns , health concerns, parenting issues, relationship issues and more. I truly believe that we should not be defined by our past but inspired by our future. You can not change yesterday, but you can choose today.

My approach to our sessions is that of a listener, and learner. I will work with you to help you be the person you want to be. My counseling style is warm, friendly and open.
I have a strong belief that one of the most important things in life is to feel as though you have someone on your team. I will be on your team!
