Everyone needs something different out of therapy but at the very least, it is my job to provide a therapeutic relationship focused on listening and connection. I have experience and enjoy working with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, life transitions, and trauma. I also helped parents whose children are at risk of entering a higher level of care, parents who have recently reunited with their children after foster care, parents who have adopted, or parents who are struggling due to their own trauma in their childhood. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy. I will tailor our interactions and treatment plan to meet your needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change.
