About
Many obstacles arise that make us feel alone, anxious, invalidated and at a loss for how to move forward. The idea of ever feeling better seems like a dream or a joke that taunts your insecurities. What if I told you, you had a strength inside yourself to make that dream a reality? What if you found a way to provide compassion to yourself that others found contagious and loving? I am here to work with you and provide space to find the quality of care specific to your needs.
Hi, I am Nicole/Nikki Schryer. I have been a Licensed Counselor and Art Therapist for roughly 9 years. Throughout the years I have obtained my Professional Clinical Counselor License and Supervision Designation, as well as my Register Art Therapist License.
Trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Affective Family Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT) I can help provide tools to encourage more positive thinking and behaviors based on where you are at.
I’ve worked with Children and Adolescent’s in Residential, School, Community, Home, Telehealth and Office Settings. Adults within an Office, Community, and Telehealth settings. I am continuously finding new ways to grow and connect within the counseling world as a way to support my clients in every area that is needed.
I am proud of you for making the step to look into counseling. That takes strength and courage. We will work together to use that strength to find love and compassion for yourself. If you are a parent looking for help for your child, you are a strong and amazing parent. We all need a little help sometimes. Couples, I am here to help you work through the difficult pieces of your relationship to get to a place of trust and positive communication so your relationship can flourish for years to come.
Grief is very close to my heart as my mother lost her battle with cancer in 2007. I have worked through my grief with my own therapist. I am forever honored to help others through their own healing.
