About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and practice compassionate mental health and trauma treatment from a polyvagal-informed and attachment-focused perspective. I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, incorporating evidence-based modalities informed by neuroscience into treatment – such as EMDR and somatic psychotherapies – to assist with nervous system regulation and manage undesirable symptoms. In utilizing the brain/body connection, I have been able to work effectively with individuals who have been impacted by incarceration and social injustice, complex and relational trauma, eating disorders and body dysmorphia, substance and alcohol use, co-occurring disorders, dissociation, depression and anxiety, and grief.

I am dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating all the identities and abilities, both marginalized and privileged, of the folks I serve by meeting folks where they are in their growth process and offering a compassionate & collaborative space to further self-explore and achieve personal goals. Folks can expect a safe, non-judgmental space when working with me to help unearth inner wants and needs and increase a deeper sense of connection.
