Hello and welcome to the start of bettering your life with Find A Therapist! I have been a substance use counselor for about 3 years and completed my degree at Springfield College. I may be new to the field, but I have been able to learn many clinical skills and how to work with different diagnoses. The clients that I have worked with came to me due to a substance use disorder, but were also struggling with other concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, ADHD, poverty, trauma, abuse and PTSD.

My counseling style could be described as providing TLC (tender, love and care) while challenging oneself to be the best version of themselves. I believe that each person deserves support, respect and compassion. Each person has a different background, culture and history which is why each treatment has to be different too! My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and client centered counseling. We will work together to identify goals and help us create the best treatment plan for you!

You have already taken the first step toward changing for the better. It takes strength and courage to reach out for help so you can live your best life.
