My name is Nicole Sommersville and I'm a wife, mommy, Air Force veteran, and Marriage and Family Therapist. I have over 7 years of experience working with diverse clients of different backgrounds, lifestyles, and stages of life. Some of the most common concerns I have assisted my clients with are anger management, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships (family and intimate), and goal attainment.
As a person and therapist, I would describe myself as loving, tough, fair, and informal. I provide a non-judgmental space and encourage my clients to speak freely and be their authentic selves, don’t sugarcoat, don’t censor; just be who you are so we can help you reach your goals.
I have adopted a blended approach of Bowenian and Alderian theories as a foundation of my practice, and I employ cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing, and reflective listening skills as primary tools for treatment.
While I can't guarantee that I can help you turn your "lemons into lemonade" I will be there to help you accept the lemon for what it is and explore the many options you have with the lemon.
