Therapy is one of the first steps to beginning your journey of self-awareness, growth, and empowerment. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2012 and have worked with individuals in diverse settings including outpatient substance abuse treatment, inpatient and partial psychiatric hospitalization, and outpatient mental health treatment. I am a certified substance abuse counselor with over 10 years of experience providing therapy for mental health and substance abuse issues. As a therapist, I work to provide my clients with a non-judgmental, accepting, and safe therapeutic environment that gives them a space to be vulnerable and open. In that space, my clients can receive help with a variety of life challenges, including stressful life transitions, emotional difficulties, mental health and substance abuse issues, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, self-harming behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities that are individualized to your needs as a client, we will explore your history, identity, and goals. We will work collaboratively to help you recognize and utilize your strengths, improve your ability to cope, become connected with your personal values, and achieve personal goals
