You have an idea of what you're supposed to do to feel better, but you just can't manage to find the motivation to do it. I help those struggling with anxiety and depression whether it's due to life transitions, relationship issues, trauma or adverse life events. I am here to help you navigate your life and relationships effectively through processing emotions, validating your experience, and coaching. I provide concrete skills to help you tolerate distress, manage emotions, and stop the constant loop of unhelpful thoughts in your mind. I use an approach influenced by Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Person-Centered approaches. I am also trained in EMDR and provide counseling focused on trauma recovery and recovery from adverse childhood experiences. Whether this is your first-time trying therapy or you have sought out treatment before, I hope to help you find the clarity and peace you need. There is light within all of us.
