About

Welcome and thank you for showing interest by viewing my page! My name is Nicole Rasche and I am an independent Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona. I am originally from Ohio but my love for the outdoors and endless adventures brought me to this beautiful mountainous state!

I studied at Arizona State University for my undergrad where I specialized in child psychology and family development. I went on to Grand Canyon University where I obtained my masters in Professional Counseling. I have been providing counseling services for over 4 years now! Previously I worked in the school system with children in the ED classes as well as in the community providing interventions and support to children and families involved in the state system.

Following grad school I started working at a maximum security prison because I wanted to “see it all” and that I have! Unfortunately, mental health opportunities are so scarce in the community, that many people end up in the system. I have worked with an array of mental health disorders including but not limited to:

Major depressive
Bipolar
Personality disorders
PTSD
Anxiety/Panic Attacks
Sleep disorders

Clientele I primarily worked with:
SMI population
Suicidal
Crisis
Trauma
Severely depressed
Sexually abused victims
Former military personal

I personally enjoy using DBT, Mindfulness, CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy techniques. Although I prefer these methods, I always tailor my approach to what is most suitable for my clients interests and end goals.

I genuinely enjoy learning from my clients and helping them traverse through their personal obstacles! I hope to be the right “fit” for your needs but if you eventually feel otherwise please do not hesitate to let me know! I am open to feedback and truly believe not every counselor is a perfect “fit” for every person. Nothing is more important than feeling comfortable and compatible with the person you are entrusting with your vulnerabilities! I am excited to start this journey with you and look forward to meeting you!
