About
I have experience working in the field of mental health since 2015, including as a clinical director for a community mental health nonprofit, as a therapist for a virtual behavioral health company, and in private practice. I provide telehealth Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals with anxiety, depression, and/or grief. I have found that, for most people, CBT can bring the quickest relief in the shortest number of sessions. Clients describe my approach as warm and supportive. I always emphasize mutual respect, empathy, and empowerment and believe that everyone has the capacity for personal growth and change. Through working together, my hope is that you will feel empowered, confident, and experience improved mood and healthy habits (such as effective communication and positive coping). I hope the work encourages you to you let go of any shame or hopelessness by understanding that mental health is all about skill-building – like working our different muscle groups – each time we bring awareness and practice, these skills get stronger. I work with Adults, Students, Parents, Young Adults, Professionals, Entrepreneurs, and Artists/Writers. I am welcoming, affirming, and empowering of individuals from the LGBTQIA2S+ community and humble and self-reflecting around intersections of culture, ethnicity, race, sexuality, gender, and language.
