About

My name is Nicole Zingale, and I am a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. I am dually licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW and LISW), as well as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). I hold a M.A. in Social Work from Cleveland State University. As a dually licensed clinician with more than 10 years of experience in addiction and mental health, I will work with you to create a non-judgmental and empowering space where you can bring your entire self into the conversation in order to heal. The foundation of my work is to build strong, long-term and trusting therapeutic relationships with those I counsel. I combine Person-Centered, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused & Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities to efficiently address symptoms (either on a short- or long-term basis) to meet your needs and your treatment goals. There are many factors that can suggest the need for treatment, including (but not limited to): A history of trauma (emotional, sexual, or physical; abandonment; bullying; domestic violence; financial abuse; LGBTQIA+ matters; medical complications (terminal or chronic illness or pain; grief/loss); mood and anxiety disorders; issues with family and intimate relationships, or military/veteran issues. Trust is the most important component in our therapeutic journey together. I want you to feel as if I am someone you can trust, and someone you can relate to. Whether you are in pursuit of growth and change or having difficulty coping with chronic psychological, social, or physical issues, seeking psychotherapy may be your first step to achieving purpose, resilience, and a better quality of life. I look forward to walking with you on this journey. Remember: The only way out is through. I hope to hear from you soon. Be well.
"You either walk inside your story and own it, or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness." -Brené Brown
