Engaging the mind in effective ways causes deep changes in how we think and feel. As this is happening, the result is feeling grounded and clear with the ability to focus on that which is beneficial. The combination of having a caring, attentive listener, hearing about new ways of thinking of things, and practicing different strategies have been useful for many of the people I meet with.
