Hi there, I'm Nicole! Nicole Danielle Watts, LCSW is an intuitive creative, a public servant and compassionate visionary possessing over 30 years of Clinical Social Work experience. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Maryland at College Park and her Master of Social Work Degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. She was credentialed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the year 2000. Nicole has provided mental health treatment services in a myriad of settings. Her clinical work with youth, adults, couples and families has spanned over three decades. My approach Nicole’s approach to clinical work is grounded heavily in Cognitive Behavioral Theory. She prioritizes mastering the relationship between thought, emotion and action. Active Listening, Mindfulness, Collaboration, Harmony and Progressive Intimacy are some of the core principles that inform her work. My focus Nicole’s most unique assets include her incomparable ability to facilitate a harmonious and growth-promoting environment for healing and recovery and to employ compassion and understanding in a manner which further benefits her introspective and humanistic focus on wellness. Nicole is a natural leader who rejoices in the uniqueness of her clients. She has an extraordinary level of cultural sensitivity and has experienced working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and in a variety of settings. My communication style Nicole creates an empowering and client centered environment for healing and recovery. She is exceptionally non-judgmental and easy to talk to. My journey to therapy Nicole decided to become a mental health provider while in her senior year of high school. She has always been fascinated by human behavior and socialization. Throughout her development, Nicole has nurtured an intrinsic empathy and passion for helping others find peace within themselves.
