Hello! I am a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over 5 years’ experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient and in-home. I have the most experience working with adolescents struggling with substance abuse, anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anger management, family conflict, interpersonal conflict, and complex trauma/abuse. I also have experience working with depression, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and immigration/acculturation issues.

I would describe my style as warm and supportive and I use a person-centered, holistic, multicultural, and eclectic approach in treatment. I hold the relationship between therapist and client in high regard and believe a positive, collaborative, therapeutic relationship is essential to the healing and growth process. I will strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment in which clients are free to explore themselves and their relationships and meet their specific goals. I work to promote understanding, compassion, healing, growth, and balance in the lives of my clients. I also hold the belief that there are many ways to approach therapy and will work with you to find what fits to your specific needs and goals. I primarily use evidence based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling.
