About

Hi there! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Washington State and Massachusetts, and I place a high value on therapeutic "fit": when a client finds the right therapist and that relationship is carefully cultivated over time in a collaborative environment built on trust, healing and transformation can follow. I use warmth, humor, and authenticity to create a safe space for my clients to explore deep existential questions and engineer systems of lifestyle and relationship change.

Therapy itself is a relationship. If we are a good fit, we will cocreate a therapeutic space that is tailored for your unique goals. I enjoy going down the rabbit hole with my clients, which brings an element of existentialism into my work. I integrate this with a solution-focused, here-and-now approach that asks, "what can you do right now - today, and throughout this week - to feel better?" I have experience supporting clients living with anxiety, depression, BPD, chronic stress, life transitions, trauma, domestic violence, relationship and parenting issues, personality disorders, self-harm and suicidality. I look to my clients as the experts in their own life experience, and I strive to incorporate awareness around diversity in all of its forms and its impact on how my clients move through the world.

I obtained a Master of Science degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The College of New Jersey with minors in Religious Studies and Arabic Language. I have helped individuals, couples and families improve their lives and relationships across three cities in the last five years, practicing in Philadelphia and Boston before relocating to Seattle with my family.

I'm looking forward to meeting you!
