Nicole has been in the substance abuse and mental health practice for 14 years in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment working with adolescent, adults, and geriatric clientele. She feels that change is possible for all who are willing to be honest with themselves while working on their issues. Self-sufficiency and emotional stability are key components to self-care and when fully invested in change one will value self-preservation and become willing to pursue and eventually reach the point of radical acceptance of things one cannot change allowing healing to take place. Nicole attended the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Langston University were she earned a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling. She holds licenses in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) along with licenses in Oklahoma as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). She also has a national certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
