I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified First Responder Counselor, Texas-based provider, and a New York City native with many years of experience working in various settings, including university clinics, community mental health, hospitals, private practice, and telehealth platforms. My approach to therapy depends on the client. I mainly practice eclectic therapy. From the first session, you will learn practical coping mechanisms to manage your issue. I do not ascribe to the doctor knows best philosophy or the independent choice model of giving all decision-making authority to the client. I prefer to practice from the shared decision-making model where you and I will collaborate on the best treatment for your issues. My attribute styles are warm, affirming, and empowering.
