Hi friend! My name is Nichole; thanks for visiting! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a variety of experience. Over the years, I have worked with folks on a variety of life topics including anxiety, vocational and career exploration, body image and attachment styles. I believe that everyone has within them the solutions to their own situations. My style of counseling is person centered blended with reality therapy. Often, the solutions are plain as day but we are hesitant to accept them. In sessions, you can expect me to be honest with you on all levels. For some folks, this is difficult to hear because sometimes the truth is not what they are looking for. I will walk you through the process of seeing things from different view points, often challenging your thoughts and actions to encourage you to look at things differently. At no point will I ever judge you for your choices, past or present, nor will I belittle you for not seeing things a certain way. Further, we will never have to agree on everything, and I encourage feedback throughout our work together. I believe that education, feedback, and openness is key in every situation, and counseling is no exception. Let's connect soon!
