About

Thank you for visiting Good Life Counseling and Training, PLLC. I’m Nichole Gause, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Over 15 years ago, I entered this field because I wanted to help people. I believed then, and I still do now, that sometimes we need someone to help us get where we are going. It is my intent to help you gain the things that you want in life, whether that is to obtain a goal or to achieve peace. In my arsenal: I earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelors from Winthrop University. I am certified in Prepare and Enrich, a marital program that has been proven to strengthen engaged and married couples. I am also certified in a parenting program titled Love and Logic, which is proven to be useful to help parents meet their children’s needs. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and can use it’s techniques to help people change behaviors, so that they can achieve the things in life that they deserve. I also use Christian Cognitive Therapy with clients who rely on their faith to help them cope with life. My other go-to tools include Reality Therapy and Solution Focused Therapyvtechniques. Beliefs: I know from helping many people over the years, that painful issues and difficult situations can be overcome. I believe that it is gift to have someone to be present with you in difficult times and to be heard without being judged. I believe in collaborating with my clients to get their needs met.
