I am a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have extensive experience in the mental health field. I strongly believe in the holistic wellness perspective that consists of physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual components. Having lived in multiple countries, I have acquired a multicultural lens that allows me to understand the unique challenges related to identity, immigration, and acculturation that people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds face. I am a bilingual/bicultural therapist and I have equal fluency in both English and Hindi. I specialize in working with adults and older adults experiencing life transitions, substance abuse, relationship issues, work-life balance, stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, mood management, grief, loss, and end of life counseling. I provide a safe, caring, and non-judgmental environment to explore your feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. My approach is genuine, warm, collaborative and validating.
