I am a License Mental Health Counselor with over 3 years of experience , and also a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASACII) with almost 10 years of experience. I have a Master in Science Education with a focus on agency counseling. I’ve had an opportunity to work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD and addiction disorders to name a few.

Generally speaking, my theoretical approach will be Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness Therapy. This doesn’t mean I don’t incorporate other therapeutic approaches. You’re an individual therefore I don’t attempt to force a particular therapy, I have always felt that every counseling session is not a "one size fits all" therapy.

I am an active listener who enjoys supporting clients with self-discovery and development of personal goals. It’s amazing how beneficial it can be to speak with someone unbiased, nonjudgmental and eager to be supportive. I've been told by my past clients that I am very easy to talk to and they know I genuinely care; which is because I do care. It’s amazing being a part of a process where people learn, grow and develop based on their standards and ideas of success. You know your life better than anyone else, a thought that makes counseling very rewarding. Sometimes as humans, we need assistance in realizing this. I look forward to being a part of that process if given the opportunity.
