Greetings, I'm Nikky Redpath, and it's a pleasure to introduce myself as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana and a Clinical Professional Counselor in Nevada. Over the course of my career, which spans more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside both children and adults as they navigate life's intricate challenges. My approach In my counseling practice, I don't adhere to a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I draw from a diverse array of therapeutic techniques, tailoring my methods to meet the unique needs of each client. This includes harnessing the power of cognitive-behavioral techniques to reshape thought patterns, employing Rogerian methods to promote self-awareness and growth, using solution-focused strategies to help clients reach their aspirations, and implementing strengths-based interventions to empower individuals to realize their full potential. My journey to mental healthcare My academic journey began at the University of New Orleans, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology, followed by my Masters in Education with a focus on Human Services Counseling. These years of study and practice have given me a profound understanding of the human mind and the therapeutic art of healing.
