As a psychotherapist, my goal is to create a safe and calm environment to examine beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that tend to get in the way of the life we want to live. I have experience working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, anger issues, trauma, psychosis, addiction, and relational issues. My primary approach to therapy is cognitive-behavioral, meaning I tend to focus on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in session. I also tend to incorporate aspects of other therapeutic orientations as needed, such as existential, humanistic, and systems approaches. Ultimately, therapy is a collaborative process that can only be effective when the therapist and client have a strong working relationship based on trust and mutual respect for one another. My office is located in downtown Turlock and is currently accepting new clients.
