Hello! I'm Nathan Aish, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) located in San Diego, California. I have 26 years of healthcare leadership experience, including 9 years of providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. My approach to therapy integrates person-centered, trauma-informed, strength-based, harm-reduction, gender-responsive, and cultural humility perspectives. My approach My personal approach to therapy is to create a collaborative partnership with clients and treat them with dignity, respect, and humility. Clinical approaches include but are not limited to Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. I have experience working with individuals with schizophrenia, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, trauma, homelessness, and co-existing addictions.
