My name is Nathalie Castillo and I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker. I completed my masters degree at Florida Atlantic University and went on to obtain my Clinical License with the state of Florida shortly after. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns such as, postpartum depression/anxiety, teen pregnancies, depression, anxiety, Trauma (physical, sexual, and emotional), martial/family conflict, ADHD, parenting problems, life changes, and homelessness. I am also currently a Family Counselor in the public school system.
I have a passion for helping others and my counseling style is open, warm, and interactive. My clinical approach is of solution-focus, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing counseling. I will tailor our sessions to fit your needs and I will use different techniques that will work best for you.
Admitting that you need help is a major first step, so congratulations on making it this far! I would like to be part of the next step in your journey to a better you. I am here to listen and not judge, to help guide you without telling you what to do, and to provide evidence based techniques that will help you in whatever aspect of life you are struggling with. My goal is for my clients to be able to identify the root of their triggers/issues, obtain helpful coping skills to manage or overcome their issue, and be able to build a strong self-esteem and self-confidence that will help them with any future stressors or triggers.
