As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have focused my career on empowering individuals who are experiencing challenges in day to day that has impaired their ability to live productive and satisfying lives. I endeavor to help individuals to improve their quality of life and to help reinforce positive change. I completed my undergraduate and graduate education at California State University, Dominguez Hills. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Services and a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am passionate about empowering individuals to identify their internal strengths and overcome personal challenges to create positive change. I have worked in the Behavioral Health field for over 5 years. For the past 3.5 of those years, I have dedicated myself to providing outpatient mental health support to individuals in underserved communities. I have been able to encourage emotional resilience and reduce vulnerability to mental health challenges by building on the client's personal strengths and self-esteem, which can lead to an increased capacity to cope with life transitions and stressors. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients. I believe that helping clients to draw on personal strengths helps each individual achieve their therapeutic goals. I look forward to partnering with you.
