About
I am a licensed clinical social worker committed to treating individuals who are willing to put in the work, with me, to make the necessary changes for a more fulfilling life. My clinical interests in a nutshell: resolving trauma, difficulties with separating oneself from how they were raised (family of origin and differentiation), identifying and solidifying values/belief system, addiction, mood disorders, and resolving spiritual abuse issues. I utilize an integrated, psychodynamic, person-centered approach that draws upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brainspotting, and Rational Therapy techniques. Brainspotting is a type of alternative therapy that uses spots in a person’s visual field to help them process trauma. It accesses trauma trapped in the subcortical brain, the area of the brain responsible for motion, consciousness, emotions, and learning. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Simpson University in Redding, CA, and my Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Trauma from Widener University. As I pursued my education, I worked with adolescents and their families in both one-on-one and group therapy environments. Let’s work together to find your authentic self and give that person a powerful voice!
