My practice is called Moonview Counseling and am a licensed clinical social worker in California who has been working for five years as 1-on-1 therapist. I have a background in psychology research at University of Southern California, Boston University, and Harvard University and have also worked as a residential eating disorder treatment center and the hospital setting. I have worked both inpatient as well as in intensive outpatient care. I have also done psychological testing in private practice and am currently seeing clients remotely as an individual therapist. I have worked with both adult and teenage clients dealing with PTSD, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship issues, processing disorders, and life changes.

I draw on cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, attachment-based, and humanistic therapy in my practice. I believe in providing a warm, compassionate listening ear for my clients and helping to promote their confidence, mastery, and self-esteem. The most important part of therapy is your relationship with your therapist and every patient deserves a counselor that they feel safe, respected, and understood with.

I will work with you to determine what is most important to you, what your goals are, what your needs are, and what strengths you have. Our treatment plan will be centered around all of these things and will be custom-tailored with you, and only you, in mind. This is never easy, but I hope that working together we can make it at least a little easier on you.
