I am licensed in North Carolina with over 20 years of professional work experience. Taking this first step in asking for help can be a daunting and anxiety provoking task, after all, who wants to talk about "their problems" ?! That's what I'm here for, is to provide support, encouragement and insight into whatever you may be struggling with. I'm generally a laid back, but upfront person. This is your story and your journey, so I strive to respect and honor where you currently are. Therapy sometimes isn't about "fixing" a problem, but accepting certain (safe!) life circumstances and learning how to accommodate them. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, confidence, & career changes. I believe that we all have hidden strengths that will assist us in overcoming things that challenge us. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
