My name is Nataly Sanchez, I am a licensed professional counselor serving clients in the state of Texas. I enjoy getting to know my clients and their unique life stories and assisting them as they navigate the journey to self-compassion. What is your approach to therapy? I take a cognitive behavioral approach, in order to teach you how to gain awareness and ultimately change negative thinking patterns that interfere with daily life. I understand, it can be intimidating to seek therapy, and I will try my best to help you feel comfortable. I allow each person to set the pace for how much they are willing to share, while providing therapeutic interventions to ease change. I integrate humor in my sessions and I'm proficient in Spanish, if that's helpful. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? I support clients in processing adjustment periods such as transitioning to university life, creating a healthy work-life balance, and in processing losses such as divorce or grief.
